Electronic mails or emails are like letters, but emails are sent via the internet to a recipient. An email address is unique to the user and is vital to receiving emails.
The format for an email is:
From: (Who is sending the email – janine@yahoo.com)
To: (Who is receiving the email to– hal@gmail.com)
Cc: (Who you want to send a copy of the email to– Sandy@live.com)
Bcc: (You add someone you want to send the email to, but you do not want everyone to see who this person is)
Subject: (What the email is about– Activating an account)
The body of the email
Closing
NB:
Cc means carbon copy and
Bcc means blind carbon copy. “Cc” is used in an email when you want to copy the information to others publicly, and “Bcc” is used when you want to do it privately. The recipients on the Bcc line of an email are not visible to others on the email.
