We change because life changes.

We all get to the point where we “find” ourselves. We find that as we get older, we don’t see things the way we once did. People change because of the circumstances they encounter. We no longer appreciate the changes that we see in others because we have changed as well. We no tolerate insecurities, procrastination, lies, drama, half truths or selfishness. We no longer care to save the world because we would have learned that we cannot save everyone…. not because we don’t want to save them but because not everyone can be saved or needs to be saved.

So we learn to remember the good times but we don’t stay in those memories because we are no longer the person we thought we were.

We begin to see the value in letting go of things that will not elevate our thoughts and actions. We no longer care about being alone… because we have learned that being alone is better than being around people who don’t share the same values or attitudes that we do.

We cry… we forgive… we learn… we move forward.

We allow ourselves to grow and thrive because nothing in life remains constant and we must accept that.
