Don’t give up now… your reward is in the next chapter

There are many times that we want to give up because we have “failed” or because success seems to be far away. We make many mistakes and we feel as though all hope is lost.

This is not a unique experience to a specific group of people. Instead it is a common occurrence to everyone who breathes and who has life. It is present in the student who goes to school everyday, to the parents who want to achieve great success for their children, to the professionals who set goals that do not materialize within a specific timeframe or to the man on the street who has lost everything.

We make mistakes yes. And we believe that we have failed because our “goals” are not met when we expect them to be met. But the truth is that mistakes are successes hidden in lessons that we need to learn. We have to make mistakes to grow and it is within this growth that we redirect our goals and we steer in a different direction.

You see, sometimes the path we “want” to take is not the path that we “need” to take. This is what we consider as failures and mistakes. The “wanted” can lead to rewards but not necessarily the greatest success that we might have had if only we had taken the “needed” path.

Now this may sound confusing to some people but when we really step aside and assess what we deem as failure or mistakes… we realize that these were simple “hiccups” that we could learn from. We realize that these are moments we had not anticipated for our “true” success. We can toss them aside and give up or we can use these lessons and remind ourselves that our success is still within reach and that we should never give up.

What you may deem as failure today is a blessing in disguise. So keep going and do not give up.
